The challenge was to set Topturn apart in their sector but also to deliver the necessary financial information to potential investors. Using Topturn’s surfing-inspired name, we produced a documentary-like video, which featured Joe Curren, a pro surfer. We featured the topturn - a move a surfer makes at the top of the wave to get back in the momentum of the wave - as an analogy to Topturn’s investment strategy. In the end, the video brought epic beauty shots and authenticity into an industry known for simply suits and boardrooms. The video has gone on to win numerous awards and has helped pushed boundaries of what is possible in corporate video.
